Samantha Ruffen

Samantha Ruffen is an experienced educator with a focus on English language instruction. Currently serving as an English as a New Language Teacher at Goshen Central School District since January 2019, Samantha specializes in English Language Arts for English language learners within the Newcomers Program. Previous roles include teaching English Language Arts to ninth and tenth graders at Liberty High School and working as a substitute teacher in Garrison Union Free School District. Additionally, Samantha has experience as an English Language Arts Teacher during the Ulster County BOCES Summer School program and has served as a peer tutor in English and writing at Dutchess Community College. Samantha holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from SUNY New Paltz, along with a Bachelor's of Arts in Adolescent Education, English, and an Associate's degree in Adolescent Education English.
