John Polen has over three decades of diverse professional experience across various industries. Currently serving as Link Student/Entrepreneur at Business on LinkedIn since January 2013, John also holds the position of Director/Independent Associate at GoSmallBiz.com, aiding small businesses in growth and protection since February 2006. Previously, John worked at United Airlines as a Reservations & Crew Accommodations Specialist from 1996 to 2007, and spent a decade at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as an Agent/Sales Representative, focusing on asset protection and territory expansion. Early career roles included various sales and service jobs while managing academic responsibilities and single parenthood and notable service in the US Navy as an E-6 (1st Class Petty Officer) from 1971 to 1980.
