Erik van der Plas

Erik van der Plas has a diverse work experience as a freelance software engineer, owner of their own company since 2017. Erik has worked on various projects for different companies. In 2019, they joined A.U.S.R. Orca as a collegiate rower. In 2020, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Gospooky, where they contributed to the development of TrackAR, a computer vision model for Snapchat. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Technology Consultant at Manpower Nederland. Erik also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Woonwaard Noordkennemerland in 2019, building a mobile app to incentivize energy-saving actions. In 2018, they were a Conversational AI Developer at Speaky, focusing on voice interface technologies. Prior to that, they were involved in iOS app development at Kinder Donations and The Next Web. Erik also served as an Advisory Board Member at Young Advisory Board (YAB), offering insights on innovative technologies.
