Sandy Nguyen,Ph.D., has an extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the field of new product planning and market insights. Sandy started their career as a Research and Administrative Assistant at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in 2004. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Doctoral Researcher in Chemistry at Northwestern University. Sandy then joined L.E.K. Consulting as a Senior Life Sciences Specialist from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Celgene, initially as a Senior Manager in Corporate Development at Receptos, a subsidiary of Celgene, and then as a Senior Manager in Market Research and New Product Planning. Sandy was later promoted to Associate Director of Global Market Insights & New Products. In 2018, Sandy joined Gossamer Bio as a Director of New Product Planning. Sandy was eventually promoted to Senior Director and led various commercial preparedness activities for pulmonary arterial hypertension and ulcerative colitis indications. Sandy has a strong background in market research, commercial strategy, and financial modeling for successful commercialization and market differentiation of pharmaceutical assets.

Sandy Nguyen, Ph.D., pursued their higher education with a focus on chemistry and biochemistry. Sandy began their academic journey in 2002 at UCLA, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2006. Sandy then proceeded to Northwestern University, where they enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Chemistry from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, they attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, completing a Certificate Program in Management for Scientists and Engineers. Through their educational experiences, Sandy has developed a strong foundation in the fields of chemistry and management.
