Akshi Singla is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Gothenburg since September 2020, focusing on microbiota-host signaling pathways and the mechanisms of cholera toxin pathogenesis. Previously, Akshi was a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from September 2015 to May 2020, contributing to the understanding of bacterial attachment mechanisms and lectin-glycan interactions, while also serving as a Teaching Assistant in various chemical engineering courses. Earlier experience includes a role as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, analyzing the aggregation kinetics of monoclonal antibodies, and a summer internship at Ranbaxy Lab Limited, where efficiency improvements in reactor processes were achieved. Akshi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BTech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
