Joanne Miskulin

Joanne Miskulin has had extensive work experience in the construction industry. Joanne has worked as a Director of Operations at Govan Brown & Associates since 2022. Prior to that, they were an Instructor/Facilitator at Merit College of Construction starting in 2013. From 2014 to 2022, they served as a Senior Project Manager at EllisDon, where they successfully managed several construction projects, including the rehabilitation of Calgary's Historic City Hall and the historic rehabilitation of the original YWCA. Before EllisDon, Joanne worked as a Senior Project Manager at Bird Construction from 2010 to 2015, as a Project Manager at Reed Atwood Builders Inc. from 2008 to 2010, and as a Project Manager at KELLERDENALI Construction from 2004 to 2008. Joanne also worked as a Development Manager at ProCura Developments from 2002 to 2004, overseeing the construction of the Emerald Stone Condominiums project. The earliest work experience listed for Joanne is as a National Construction Manager at InvestorPlus from 1992 to 2002.

Joanne Miskulin obtained a BA in Criminology/Sociology from Carleton University in 1990-1991. Before that, they also pursued a BA in Criminology from Mount Royal University from 1988-1990. Additionally, they obtained certifications including being a member of The Association for Preservation Technology International (APT) and having a Gold Seal Certification as a Senior Practitioner (Project Manager) from the Canadian Construction Association. Joanne also attended the Haskayne School of Business but did not complete a degree there. Joanne did, however, obtain a certification in Business Essentials from the same institution.
