Dr Shahid Adil

Dr. Shahid Adil is a Public Sector Specialist at The World Bank, involved in the Punjab Resource Improvement and Digital Effectiveness (PRIDE) program, focusing on enhancing Public Financial Management Systems and digitizing public services in Punjab. Since January 2022, Dr. Adil has also served as a Visiting Faculty member in the Department of Economics at Government College University, Faisalabad, and continued as a visiting faculty member at the University of the Punjab. With a career spanning various significant roles in the Government of Punjab, including positions as Director of the Punjab Economic Research Institute and Additional Secretary in the Public Prosecution Department, Dr. Adil has rich experience in economic research, policy formulation, and public administration. Academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from the University of the Punjab and multiple international fellowships focused on public administration and economic policy planning. Currently, Dr. Adil is pursuing certifications related to research and AI tools at AGM Institute of Research and Development.
