Alyssa Couts

Alyssa Couts currently serves as Accounting Manager at the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) since May 2022. Prior to this role, Alyssa held the position of Senior Accountant at Amp Americas from March 2021 to May 2022, and worked as a Staff Accountant at the Appraisal Institute from May 2019 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as an Accounting Clerk at the Residential Real Estate Council and as Clinic Shift Leader at Tree House Humane Society. Alyssa's career in finance began at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley as an Animal Welfare Associate in 2009. Academically, Alyssa holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Southern Oregon University.
