Ivanildo Oliveira

Ivanildo Oliveira is currently a CAPES scholarship researcher for the Master’s Program in Social Work at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, starting in March 2024. Previously, Ivanildo worked as a Career Beginning Researcher at Centro Lemann, focusing on educational equity from March to December 2023. Ivanildo’s prior experience includes researching social inequalities and human rights in the Americas and serving as a social security monitor and PIBIC/CNPq scholarship holder at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, contributing to studies on Brazilian social issues. Additional roles include an internship in social work at Hospital da Restauração, providing social interviews and report preparation, and working as a health agent in the Mãos Solidárias project, collaborating with social movements to support vulnerable populations. Ivanildo also coordinated a team for the Projeto Gradação, which targeted students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Social Work and ongoing graduate studies in Social Work and Project Management.
