Gregor Robertson serves as the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, and Pacific Economic Development for the Government of Canada since May 2025. Previously, Robertson was the Global Ambassador for the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy from April 2019 to May 2025, representing over 12,000 cities committed to addressing climate change. Additionally, Robertson held the position of Executive Vice President of Strategy, Partnerships & Impact at Nexii Building Solutions from January 2019 to November 2023, focusing on sustainable development in the construction sector. As an advisor and representative for the Pacific Coast Collaborative from July 2020 to July 2022, Robertson supported cooperative efforts among the states of California, Oregon, Washington, and the province of British Columbia. Earlier, Robertson served as the Mayor of Vancouver from December 2008 to November 2018, leading initiatives that garnered international recognition for climate action, affordable housing, and urban livability. Gregor Robertson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and English from Colorado College.
