Michael R. is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in network and cloud security. Currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for the Government of Canada since April 2023, Michael specializes in AI research and security advocacy. Prior to this role, Michael worked at IBM for five years as a Senior Security Managing Consultant, focusing on enterprise cloud and network security solutions and integrating various cyber security products. Michael's earlier career includes roles at Herjavec Group, Check Point Software Technologies, Intel Corporation, Texas Instruments, and CISCO Systems, where expertise in network security engineering and consulting was developed. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Technology Innovation Management from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University.
