Ailís Henry is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and public service management. Currently serving as the Public Service HR and L&D Initiatives Manager at the Department of Public Expenditure & Reform since July 2021, Ailís previously held various positions including Higher Executive Officer and Executive Officer at The Pensions Authority from October 2017 to July 2021, and Broadcast Co-ordinator at RTÉ from October 2015 to October 2017. Ailís began the career at PeoplePoint as a Clerical Officer, contributing as an HR Advisor in the Leave Management Team. Ailís also has experience as an English Language Teacher at Kids&Us and as an Auxiliar de conversación with the Ministerio de Educación. Educational background includes a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland, complemented by qualifications in Event Management and Public Relations, as well as an International Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Spanish from Maynooth University, with additional studies in Spain.
