Fiona O'Connor serves as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery & Reform at the Department of Public Expenditure & Reform since December 2022. Prior to this role, Fiona held the position of Special Advisor to Paschal Donohoe TD at the Department of Finance Ireland from August 2021 to December 2022, where assistance included guidance in financial policies as well as Eurogroup leadership. Fiona's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Corporate Communications at Drury from January 2016 to July 2021, focusing on strategic issues, media relations, and stakeholder engagement; leading a retail marketing team at Paddy Power from 2006 to July 2015; and working as a Brand Manager at Woodford Bourne from January 2003 to April 2006. Fiona holds various academic qualifications, including an MBA from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Diploma in Coaching for Performance from Dublin Business School.
