Gene Boyd

Gene Boyd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and internal audit. Currently, Gene serves as Principal at Boyd Associates Limited, focusing on governance-related training and risk management projects since July 2019. Gene also participates as an Audit Committee member for the Department of Public Expenditure & Reform and has chaired the Audit Committee of Kerry County Council since 2014, after being a member since its inception in 2007. Previously, Gene held significant roles in LEO Pharma as Manager of Corporate Internal Audit, and in Astellas Ireland as General Manager for both manufacturing and sales branches. Academic credentials include an International Diploma in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management, a Master’s in Management Science from Trinity College Dublin, a Diploma in Professional Accounting, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin.
