Dominique Horton

Dominique Horton serves as the Digital Media Manager for the City of Shreveport since September 2019, where responsibilities include managing digital services, developing marketing strategies for social media accounts for both the city and the mayor, creating content, and training social media liaisons. Dominique is also a Membership Council Member for Government Social Media LLC and the founder of DHW Management Company, which manages the careers of up-and-coming comedians. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Administrative Assistant and Social Media Marketing Specialist at Young Professionals Entertainment, managing multiple social media profiles, and serving as Executive Administrative Assistant/VP at Horton Construction Company, a prominent minority-owned business in Shreveport. Dominique holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications/Journalism from LSU Shreveport.
