Doug Shifflett, CCM, CCE has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Doug served as the Chief Operating Officer at Governors Club from May 2012 to present. Previously, they were the General Manager/COO at River Hills Country Club for a significant period of time from August 1994 to April 2012.

Doug Shifflett, CCM, CCE received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications and Business Administration from Catawba College, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified Club Manager (CCM) in June 2018 and as a Certified Chief Executive (CCE) in September 2015, both from the Club Management Association of America.
