Volker Koch-Achelpoehler

Volker Koch-Achelpoehler currently serves as the Agricultural Relations Director for Europe at Gowan Company since July 2021. Prior to this role, Koch-Achelpoehler was the Head of Public Affairs for Science & Sustainability in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Bayer AG from May 2020 to March 2021, and held positions including Head of the EU Liaison Office at Bayer from February 2017 to January 2020. Koch-Achelpoehler was the Director General at Industrieverband Agrar e.V. from March 2006 to February 2017 and worked as a Senior Manager for Strategic Development and Central and Eastern European Affairs at the European Crop Protection Association from December 2000 to February 2006. Additional roles include Senior Manager at the European Crop Protection Association and Partner & Senior Project Manager at the ASA Institute for Agricultural Sector Analysis and Policy Advice.
