Dan Hood

Dan Hood has worked in the eCommerce industry since 2009. Dan began their career as a photographer for Zappos Family of Companies and Amazon from 2009 to 2013. In 2015, they became the Photo Studio Manager for Gilt.com, where they increased productivity by 20% and brought cost-per-item down to 30% under budgeted goal. From 2016 to 2019, Dan was the Senior Manager of Studio for HBC Digital, where they managed a team of 20+ employees, split between creative production, copy (attributes), and operations subteams. Dan also reported out analytics and forecasting for products and customer engagement. In 2019, Dan began working at Flexsteel Industries Inc. as an eCommerce Business Analyst, implementing homestyles brand eCommerce business and innovation strategy, and influencing the day-to-day operations for the brand. Currently, Dan is the Director of eCommerce Operations at GoWild.

Dan Hood graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Photography.
