Marcelo Pimentel

Marcelo Pimentel is the current CEO of GPA. Marcelo has previously served as CEO of Lojas Marisa, Operations Vice President of a 384 department store chain in Brazil, and Director of Retail Operations of the second largest Drugstores Retail Chain in Brazil. Marcelo has also worked for Walmart in various positions including District Director, Productivity Director (Stores Operations), General Store Manager, Deputy Store Manager/ Home Shopping Manager Project, and General Merchandise Manager.

Marcelo Pimentel has a post-graduate degree in management studies from the University of Central England, and a bachelor's degree in management studies and international trade from Faculdade Batista Carioca.
