Joaquim Leite

Joaquim Leite currently serves as a member of the sustainability committee at Grupo Cimed and as a senior partner at YvY Capital, alongside founding VIVENS Business School, which focuses on preparing businesses and professionals for success in the green economy. Previously, Joaquim Leite held the position of Minister of the Environment for the Government of Brazil, where responsibilities included waste management, environmental services payment, and sustainable energy initiatives. Joaquim Leite also served as Secretary of the Amazon and Environmental Services at the Ministry of the Environment, leading several commissions aimed at environmental conservation and sustainable forestry. An earlier role included partnership at MRPL Consultoria, specializing in coffee production and forestry management. Joaquim Leite holds an MBA from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade de Marília.
