Giorgi Sakhokia

Giorgi Sakhokia is an experienced information security professional currently serving as an Information Security Consultant at the State Audit Office of Georgia since March 2024, where responsibilities include preparation for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification audits and conducting gap assessments. Giorgi has also been an Information Security Manager for both GPI Holding and IRAO—Vienna Insurance Group since January 2022, focusing on ISO 27001 implementation, incident management, risk management, procurement management, and awareness training. Prior roles include Information Security Consultant at the Security Police Department of Georgia, along with multiple positions at the State Audit Office of Georgia and involvement in several IT and project management roles. Additionally, Giorgi has a diverse background in music and performing arts, having served as a musician, singer, and dancer since 2007, and has held various leadership and administrative roles in different organizations. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Economics and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, and Caucasiology.
