Brandt Tullis

Brandt Tullis has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Brandt is currently working as the Director of Engineering, Infrastructure at GPS Insight, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they were a Manager of Cloud Development at OutSystems from 2021 to 2023. In this role, they oversaw four Cloud Development teams and reduced internal cloud spend by 50%.

From 2019 to 2021, Brandt worked at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. as the Director of Cloud Operations and then as a Cloud Operations Manager. Brandt managed Site Reliability Engineering and Internal Services, improved organizational communication, and implemented a framework for Continuous Delivery for microservices.

Before that, Brandt worked at Comcast as an SRE Engineering Manager from 2017 to 2019. Brandt grew the operations team and played a key role in migrating a large distributed system to AWS.

At Icontrol Networks, Brandt was a Lead Build and Release Engineer from 2016 to 2017. Brandt led the development of a POC for Lift and Shift of an application stack into AWS and optimized delivery pipelines.

From 2014 to 2016, Brandt worked at TBWA\\Worldwide as a Systems Administrator. Brandt deployed and maintained distributed private cloud infrastructure and developed automation solutions using Powershell and BASH.

Earlier in their career, Brandt was a Senior Network and Systems Administrator at Complete I.T., where they consulted with clients, implemented service deployments, and documented IT infrastructure.

Brandt Tullis obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they have also acquired several certifications: a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google in March 2020, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in October 2018, and a CCNA certification from Cisco in 2014.
