Daniel Toebe

Daniel Toebe has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniel started their career as the General Manager at Magnums Cigar Wine Liquor from August 2005 to November 2010. Following that, they founded their own company called Toebe Technologies, where they served as the Owner from May 2010 to October 2016. During this time, they undertook contract work for web and software development and also managed Linux server and desktop systems.

Subsequently, Daniel worked as the Web and IT Manager at Ecigsupply from November 2010 to October 2016. In this role, they oversaw web development, software development, and IT infrastructure, including setting up and maintaining various e-commerce solutions. From November 2016 to February 2018, they were a Software Engineer at Bolste, where they built microservices using Golang and worked with REST APIs and websockets.

Currently, Daniel is employed at GPS Insight, where they started as a Backend Engineer in March 2018. Daniel primarily focuses on creating distributed microservices using Golang, handling data from embedded devices, and proposing deployment pipelines using Kubernetes, AWS, OpenShift, and Jenkins. Since June 2019, they have been serving as the Software Engineering Manager, overseeing multiple teams, defining processes, and collaborating with product teams to update and build out new functionality.
