Helen Holmes

Helen Holmes is an established culture reporter currently working at The Daily Beast since April 2022. Previously, Helen served as an arts reporter at Observer from July 2018 to March 2022 and worked as a freelance journalist in 2017. Helen’s journalism experience includes roles such as Editor in Chief and Entertainment Editor at NYU Local, where contributions spanned from September 2013 to May 2016. Additional internships at notable publications like Harper's Bazaar, The Week, and Gothamist.com further enriched Helen's experience in writing, editing, and research. Helen holds a B.A. in American Studies with a minor in Creative Writing from New York University, completed in 2016, following a high school diploma from Newton South High School in 2012.
