Kristy Pirone

Kristy Pirone is a content coordinator and copyeditor who has worked for companies like Penguin Random House and Yolla. Kristy currently works as an editorial content manager at GR0.

Kristy started their career as an editorial intern for Los Angeles Magazine in September 2017. In this role, they were responsible for writing articles and updating existing content. Kristy also performed various tasks as deemed necessary by the team, including social media marketing.

In October 2018, Kristy began working as an editorial intern for Yolla. In this role, they wrote articles for websites including TheWhisp.co. Kristy also updated and edited existing articles on the sites and performed various tasks as deemed necessary by the Yolla team, including social media marketing. Emphasis was placed on skills including writing HTML code, SEO, expanding our social media presence and Adobe Photoshop.

In October 2019, Kristy began working as a copyeditor for Penguin Random House. In this role, they edited frontmatter for hundreds of ePubs across PRH's many imprints to prepare them for conversion into audiobooks.

In February 2021, Kristy began working as a content coordinator for GR0. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating the development and distribution of content across GR0's various channels.

Kristy Pirone attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where they earned their bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies. Kristy also attended Louisville High School. Kristy is certified by the Yoga Alliance as a Yoga Instructor and by the American Red Cross as a CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor.
