Matteo Parravicini

Matteo Parravicini is a Co-Founder at gr3n SA since January 2011, bringing extensive expertise in research and development within the medical industry. Previously, as Project Manager for R&D Long Term at Medacta International from March 2015 to May 2021, Matteo led the development of innovative antibacterial coatings aimed at preventing prosthetic joint infections and coordinated EU projects while scouting new technologies in orthopaedics. Matteo’s academic background includes a PhD pursued at Columbia University in the City of New York and Università degli Studi Insubria from September 2006 to November 2010, focusing on novel tetrasubstituted phthalocyanines as potential photodynamic therapy agents, with characterization methods including NMR, IR, electronic spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. Matteo completed a degree at Università degli Studi di Milano from 2000 to 2004.
