Hasier Rodriguez Valencia

Hasier Rodriguez Valencia has extensive experience in the field of backend engineering and development. Hasier began their career in 2010 as an intern at Gizer. In 2011, they were a research intern at DeustoTech Learning with Telefonica Cátedra, where they conducted research and development in multimedia technology applied to eBooks and software development. In 2012, they were a summer student at CERN, where they participated in the evaluation of remote cloud interfaces. In 2013, they were a research intern at DeustoTech Internet. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Jinn, first as a software developer and then as a lead backend developer, where they managed and organized a six-person backend team, lead Python backend changes towards scalable solutions, and faced company internationalization with huge system changes and managing posterior user growth. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Yoyo as a senior backend engineer and backend technical lead, where they grew to become a reference of payment integrations and the EPOS API, helped the company reach new markets as the main developer and technical owner of the Commerce API, and contributed across teams to improve internal tooling and processes. Since 2021, they have been a senior backend developer at Bulb.
