Lai Heng Jin

Lai Heng Jin is a senior finance manager who has spent their career working in various operational finance roles. Lai is currently the Director of Group FP&A at Grab, a position they have held since May 2016. Prior to that, they were the Senior Manager of Operations Finance at Yahoo! Southeast Asia from May 2008 to May 2016. In that role, they were responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting and reporting of financial and operating results focusing on the two key Yahoo! businesses of Display and Search.

Lai Heng Jin has been recognized for their ability to create models for analysis of metrics by revenue drivers for both Search and Display businesses for all markets, which has increased forecast accuracy and facilitated decision making. Lai has also been active in costing of investment cases, rework of valuation models and integration of multiple re-orgs. As a People Manager, they have provided consistent coaching to their analysts to equip them with the necessary competencies to fulfil their roles as well as development opportunities for them to steepen their learning curve.

Lai Heng Jin has an ACCA from the Association of Certified Charted Accountants and a Diploma in Accountancy from Singapore Polytechnic.

Lai Heng Jin reports to Peter Oey, CFO. Lai Heng Jin works with Sui Poh Sim - Head of FP&A, Payments, Nicholas Anthony - Head of M&A and Investments, and Chris Yeo - Managing Director, Head of GrabPay & GrabRewards.
