Sean Hong

Sean (JunSoo) Hong is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Grabango since October 2021, with prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Sonder Inc. from April 2020 to October 2021, and as a Frontend Engineer at Uplift Inc. from March 2019 to March 2020. Sean's career began as a Frontend Developer at Synapse from December 2017 to March 2019 and includes early roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis between May 2013 and May 2017. Sean holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis (2013-2017) and a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution (2009-2013). Additionally, Sean completed a program at Hack Reactor. Contributions to research include a first-author publication in the Journal of Aircraft and the Journal of American Helicopter Society.
