Dr. Ashlea Smalley, CMDCP, CDSGF, CADDCT has a diverse range of work experience in the field of memory care and senior living. Dr. Ashlea is currently serving as the National Director of Memory Care and Life Enrichment at Grace Management, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Adjunct Professor at Northern Illinois University and Benedictine University, where they imparted their knowledge and expertise to students. Dr. Ashlea also served as the Corporate Director of Life Enrichment at Tutera Senior Living and Health Care and as the Executive Director and Director of Memory Care at Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC. Dr. Smalley began their career at Tabor Hills Senior Living, where they worked as the Director of Dementia Care Services and Social Service Associate. Through their various roles, Dr. Smalley has gained extensive experience in memory care and has contributed significantly to the field.

Dr. Ashlea Smalley, CMDCP, CDSGF, CADDCT has a diverse education history. Dr. Ashlea began their educational journey at AFC High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Gerontology at Northern Illinois University from 2005 to 2008. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Dr. Smalley then pursued a Masters of Gerontology at Concordia University Chicago from 2012 to 2014. Demonstrating their dedication to furthering their education, they are currently studying at Concordia University Chicago once more, pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree with a specialization in Gerontology, from 2018 to 2022. Dr. Smalley's education has focused on the field of Gerontology, highlighting their passion for understanding and contributing to the knowledge of the aging population.
