Melissa de Jesus has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melissa currently works at GradFin, starting in 2022, where they hold the positions of Member Retention Manager and Operations Assistant Manager. At GradFin, their responsibilities include managing member retention and assisting with operations management.

Prior to working at GradFin, Melissa worked at the YMCA of Greater Syracuse as a Group Exercise Instructor starting in 2015. Their role involved leading group exercise sessions.

From 2015 to 2022, Melissa worked at Dawn Homes Management/DHM Properties as a Senior Property Manager. In this role, they managed two luxury communities, ensuring high occupancy rates and overseeing the leasing process.

Before that, Melissa worked at Riedman Development Corporation starting in 2009 as a Resident Manager. Throughout their tenure, they managed multiple properties and successfully sold properties above market value.

In addition, Melissa worked in the hospitality industry as a Catering Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Rochester Airport from 2007 to 2009 and as a Reservations Manager at the Holiday Inn Liverpool from 2005 to 2007.

Melissa de Jesus attended the State University of New York at Delhi from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained an AAS (Associate of Applied Science) and a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree. Their field of study was Hospitality & Business. Prior to attending college, Melissa de Jesus completed their high school education at Wyoming Valley West HS from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as an Accredited Resident Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management in October 2011.
