Nicki Thornhill

Nicki Thornhill has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicki began in 2016 as a Laboratory Technician at the Utah Water Research Laboratory, where they assisted with projects and managed laboratory equipment. In 2018, they transitioned to a role as a Retail Sales associate at Caffe Ibis Inc, focusing on customer service and inventory management. In 2019, they joined GradGuard - College Life Protected as a Data Analyst, working on analyzing and managing data for different teams utilizing programs such as Excel, Tableau, and RStudio. Nicki also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Utah State University during this time, conducting research and maintaining SQL queries. The following year, they became a Revenue Operations Intern at Instructure, where they supported sales and marketing teams in accessing relevant data and developed Salesforce reports. In 2020, they joined Sono Bello as a Business Analyst, optimizing staff scheduling and capacity planning and preparing cost-benefit analyses. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Business Analytics at GradGuard - College Life Protected, leveraging their expertise in data analysis to drive business strategy.

Nicki Thornhill holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics with an emphasis in Actuarial Science and a Minor in Mathematics from Utah State University. Nicki also obtained a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from the Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business.
