Christian Torres

Christian Torres has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Christian currently works at GRADIENT as a Senior Art Director, where they collaborate with the executive team and various departments to develop the structure, processes, and best practices of the Graphic Design Department. Christian also works as an Art Director, creating visual direction for clients during pitch and production phases, while maintaining and elevating the GRADIENT brand.

Prior to their role at GRADIENT, Christian worked as a Lead Designer at The Webby Awards, where they were responsible for creating outward-facing graphics. Christian also served as a Co-Mastermind at CRIMINAL studios and gained experience as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Greenbird Design.

Christian has also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at The Public Society, specializing in designing for good. Christian has acquired skills in typography, illustration, hand lettering, and printing processes during their time as a Freelance Art Director at Terrapin Stationers.

Additionally, Christian has had experience as a Freelance Designer, working with solo clients, small businesses, start-ups, and design studios. Christian is skilled at building relationships with clients and effectively translating their ideas into unique designs. Christian had also served as a Graphic Design Assistant at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
