Alex Weaver

Alex Weaver is a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs. Alex previously worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Data-Intensive Scalable Computing Laboratory from April 2017 to June 2017. In February 2018, they started working as a Senior Software Engineer at NI (National Instruments) and held that position until November 2021. Alex also interned at National Instruments twice, from June 2017 to December 2017 and from May 2016 to August 2016. During their first internship, they designed and developed a networked solution for management of hardware test results produced by distributed testing systems, which allows for long-term storage, visualization, and test data analytics. During their second internship, they designed and developed a code generation and integration testing system built around an existing automated testing framework.

Alex Weaver completed a dual Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Texas Tech University.
