Jay Goodson

Jay Goodson has worked in the tech industry for over 5 years. Jay started out as a technical sales representative for K2View. Jay then became a Solution Consultant for Sapiens DECISION. In this role, they were responsible for identifying use cases and working with the broader team to deliver professional services. Jay was also responsible for designing, writing, and delivering training material. In 2016, Jay was awarded the Global “Excellence Award” for their contributions to Sapiens.

In 2018, Jay transitioned to Hortonworks as a Solutions Engineer. Hortonworks merged with Cloudera shortly after they started, and they continued to Drive customer success through use case discovery, solutioning, and architecture. Jay also designed and built internal software tooling to enable rapid deployment of environments for testing and customer demos.

Jay is currently a Product Manager at Grafana Labs.

Jay Goodson has a Bachelor's degree in Bioprocess Engineering from East Carolina University and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Pitt Community College. Jay is certified as a K2View Fabric Administrator and K2View Fabric Implementer, and is also a Certified BPMN Professional.

They are on a team with Pauric O'Callaghan - Senior Product Designer, Jen Villa - Senior Group Product Manager, and Mitch Seaman - Senior Product Manager. Jay Goodson reports to Tom Wilkie, VP, Technology.
