John O'brien

John O'Brien is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Grafana Labs. Prior to their current position, they served as a Senior Sales Engineer at AppDynamics from August 2018 to November 2020. John also worked as a Sales Engineer at Bottle Rocket from August 2015 to August 2018. Before that, they were a Commercial Production Assistant and Media Engineer at Reel FX from December 2012 to August 2015.

In addition to their engineering experience, John has also been an entrepreneur, owning their own business, The Lug Nut Source, LLC, from June 2016 to December 2018. John is also a skilled Audio Engineer, working for various companies from August 2011 to December 2018.

John's first job was as a Seater/Cook at Walt Disney World from June 2004 to December 2011.

John O'brien has a Bachelor of Science in Worship and Music Studies from Liberty University. John also has certification from Code School in Rails for Zombies Redux.

John O'brien reports to Dave Russell, VP, Solutions Engineering. They work with Ricardo Lupo - Director, Solutions Engineering, Jacob Plicque III - Senior Cloud Integrations Engineer, and Michael De Simone - Pincipal Solutions Engineer.
