Mariah Moody has extensive experience in education and the hospitality industry. Currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher and Parent Liaison at Graham County Schools since August 2020, Mariah manages interactions with over 100 students and their families. Previous roles include Food Server at Historic Tapoco Lodge and Lynn’s Place Restaurant, where positive customer interactions were prioritized. Mariah also completed an internship as Food and Beverage Manager Intern at Kiawah Island Club, planning daily operations and fostering relationships with staff and members. Additional experience includes a Substitute Teacher position at Graham County Schools, a Sales Manager Intern role at Comfort Inn, and an Event Planning Intern position with March of Dimes. Mariah holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Western Carolina University and an Associate's degree in Human Services Technology from Southwestern Community College.
