Sean McLaughlin

Sean McLaughlin is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in local news operations and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of News at Graham Media Group since April 2024, Sean drives the evolution of local news hubs on various platforms. Previously, Sean held the position of Director At Large at the Radio Television Digital News Association since September 2020 and served as Senior Vice President of Local News at The E.W. Scripps Company from February 2014 to March 2024, where strategic direction was set for 40 local news operations nationwide. Notable achievements include leading KMOV-TV to first place in key newscasts as Executive News Director and launching successful news operations at multiple stations, including FOX23 News in Tulsa, with a focus on modernizing content workflows and enhancing community service. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Mass Communications from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
