Michael Newman

Michael Newman currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Local Media Consortium since January 2025. In addition, Newman has held the position of Director of Transformation at Graham Media Group since July 2007, where responsibilities include leading innovation efforts across various products and establishing sustainable revenue models. Previously, Newman worked as a Lead Developer/Architect at Graham Media Group, successfully managing technical innovations and migrations to multiple CMS platforms. An early career included roles as Special Projects Manager at SpeakEasyMag.com, where Newman launched a student-run webzine, and as a Content Producer intern at Naples Daily News, where involvement ranged from reporting to developing multimedia projects. Newman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Online Journalism from Ohio University, obtained in 2007.
