Elizabeth Ellis

Associate Director, Epidemiology at GRAIL

Elizabeth Ellis has a diverse work experience in the field of epidemiology and cancer research. Elizabeth is currently working at GRAIL as an Associate Director of Epidemiology. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham from July 2020 to January 2023. Before their role at the University of Nottingham, they served as an Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London from July 2018 to July 2020. Elizabeth also worked as a Staff Scientist at the Cancer Prevention Institute of California (CPIC) from January 2016 to May 2018. Elizabeth has had a longstanding affiliation with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, where they held positions as a Lecturer from December 2013 to June 2015 and as a Research Fellow from January 2006 to December 2013.

Elizabeth Ellis has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London. Elizabeth also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Nottingham.
