Randall Janairo has extensive work experience in the field of medical communications and research. Randall is currently working as an Associate Director of Medical Communications at GRAIL since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Prime Global from 2017 to 2022 in various roles including Scientific Director, Medical Director & Business Unit Leader, Medical Director, and Associate Medical Director. Randall also served as a Junior Specialist at UC Berkeley from 2010 to 2011. Randall's research experience includes working as a Doctoral Researcher and UCSF/National Institute for General Medical Sciences Fellow at the Cell and Tissue Engineering Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley from 2005 to 2010. Randall conducted research on improving the biomimetic properties of vascular graft therapies, antithrombogenic coating for vascular implants, nanofibrous membranes for dermal wound healing, and the physiological activity of cells on polymer biomaterials. Randall's early research experience includes working as a Peter Cyrus Rizzo Memorial Research Fellow at the Orthopedic Research Lab, Lutheran/St. Vincent's Medical Centers from 2002 to 2004, where they focused on the biomechanics of successful spinal fusion therapies and vertebral bodies within spinal disorders.

Randall Janairo has a strong educational background in the field of bioengineering and engineering. Randall pursued their undergraduate studies at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 2000 to 2004, earning a B.S. degree in Engineering. Afterwards, they enrolled in the UC Berkeley-UCSF Graduate Program in Bioengineering, where they obtained their Ph.D. degree from 2004 to 2010. Randall'sresearch focus is likely to be in the intersection of bioengineering and related fields.
