Yinjie Gao

Yinjie Gao's work experience includes positions as a Bioinformatic Scientist at GRAIL from November 2022 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Computational Biologist at Tempus Labs, Inc. from June 2020 to October 2022. In this role, they identified biomarkers from various data sources, developed predictive models, constructed pipelines, and conducted validation studies. They also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science from August 2019 to January 2020. Additionally, Yinjie was a Research Assistant at the Computational Biology Department at Carnegie Mellon University and as a Computational Biologist Intern at Helomics in 2019. They also have experience as an English Teacher at New Oriental Education & Technology Group in 2018 and as a Research Assistant at Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin R&D Centre for Chinese Medicine and State Key Lab of Agrobiotechnology in 2017.

Yinjie Gao completed a Master's degree in Computational Biology from Carnegie Mellon University between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, Yinjie pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, Yinjie participated in an exchange study program at the University of California, Davis from 2016 to 2017, focusing on Biotechnology.
