Yiren Hu

Yiren Hu is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as a Staff Scientist at GRAIL since September 2018, having progressed through roles from Scientist I to Senior Scientist. Previously, Yiren Hu was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California San Diego, focusing on genomic and biochemical analyses of inflammation responses in cancer and immune cells. During Yiren Hu's tenure as a Graduate Researcher at UC San Diego from 2010 to 2017, significant contributions were made to the study of transcription regulation in human breast cancer using next-generation sequencing. Yiren Hu's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Epigenomics and Cancer Biology from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University.
