Joel Jose

Joel Jose joined us in August 2022 as a Thematic Coordinator in Planning, Monitoring, Documentation and Communication. He studied in Azim Premji University in Bangalore pursuing Masters in Development and passed out in 2022. Joel has a Bachelors in Commerce from Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College in Mumbai, passed in 2018. He completed Class 12 from HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai in 2015 and passed out from Don Bosco High School, Matunga, Mumbai in 2013. As an intern he has worked with Paschim Banga Khet Mazdoor Samiti (PBKMS), West Bengal, conducting survey on the local Public Distribution System during lockdown amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, and wrote & published Newsletters. He also interned with Sankalp in Mumbai in 2019 where he taught small children living in the slums of Govandi in the city and assisted in fund raising activities. In 2018, as a research intern in the Tata Institue of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Joel conducted surveys in villages to understand the impact of mining related activities on the lives of the village communities.
