Bharati Joshi has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Bharati is currently working as the Chief Program Officer at Grameen Foundation India since May 2023. Prior to that, from January 2022 to May 2023, they worked as a Freelance Consultant. Before that, Bharati held the position of Managing Director and CEO at Indian Grameen Services from January 2019 to January 2022.

Bharati also worked at CARE India as the Technical Director of the Economic Development Unit from November 2014 to December 2018. Prior to that, from June 2012 to October 2014, they held the role of Technical Specialist - Livelihoods at CARE India.

Bharati Joshi has also worked at ARAVALI from December 2007 to September 2011, where they served as the Programmes Director. Bharati had previously worked as the Programmes Coordinator at ARAVALI from December 2007 to December 2008.

- From 1994 to 1996, Bharati Joshi attended Delhi University once again, this time pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Plant Molecular Biology.

- Following that, from 1996 to 1998, they enrolled in the Indian Institute of Forest Management, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Forest Management and Rural Development (PGDFM).

- In 2004 to 2005, Bharati Joshi pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Extension for Natural Resource Based Livelihoods from IRDD, University of Reading.

- In December 2020, they completed a certification course called "The Science of Well-Being" offered by Coursera.

- In May 2021, they obtained a certification in "Design Thinking for the Greater Good: Innovation in the Social Sector" from Coursera.
