Rasna Hasan has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Rasna started their career in 1999 as a Communication Officer at ActionAid and later became an Associate Coordinator, leading special assignments on organization branding. Rasna then worked in corporate affairs and communication roles at Novartis, where they developed strategies, established media linkages, and formed alliances with key stakeholders. Rasna also volunteered as a media volunteer at CheckOrphan. In 2011, they joined British American Tobacco as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as the Director of Corporate and Public Affairs at Dhaka Ahsania Mission, where they led commercial fundraising and organization branding. In 2017, they joined Grameenphone Ltd as the Head of Strategic Projects and Partnerships & Deputy Director, responsible for designing and leading sustainability partnerships projects. In the same company, they later became the Head of Sustainability, leading various sustainability initiatives and managing key relationships with strategic NGOs. In 2019, they joined Telenor as the Director of Global Partnership, where they led global partnerships with organizations like UNICEF and Plan International.
