Nilesh Soni

Nilesh Soni has an extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Nilesh is currently the President Americas at Grammer AG since 2022. Before that, they held multiple leadership positions at various companies. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at The Woodbridge Group, serving as Vice President & General Manager, Interior Parts & Assembly and Diversified. Nilesh also served as Director of Manufacturing from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, Nilesh was the Plant Manager at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors from 2015 to 2016. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Johnson Controls Automotive, where they held the role of Plant Manager and was responsible for leading two large plants. Nilesh successfully turned around the operations and improved key metrics. Nilesh also worked at LG Energy Solution as the Manufacturing Director from 2009 to 2011, where they played a crucial role in taking operations from prototype to production manufacturing. Before that, they were the Director of Manufacturing at SMR Automotive Systems USA Inc from 2008 to 2009. Nilesh has experience in managerial roles, as seen from their position as Manufacturing Manager at Visiocorp USA Inc from 2006 to 2008. Nilesh also held the role of Industrial Engineering Manager at Schefenacker Vision Systems from 2001 to 2006, where they directed lean manufacturing initiatives and provided strategic planning. Nilesh's career began as an Industrial Engineer at Schefenacker Vision Systems, Inc from 1998 to 2000, where they conducted time studies and supported manufacturing projects. Nilesh Soni completed their high school education at St. Paul's High School from 1977 to 1989. Nilesh then went on to Kakatiya University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Nilesh further pursued their education at Michigan Technological University from 1995 to 1997, receiving a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Later, they attended Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2006 to 2008, where they completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) with a specialization in Business Management.
