Alexis Mouer has a diverse background in creative roles, starting as a Content Developer and Writer at Phoenix New Times in 2014. Alexis then moved on to positions such as Creative Marketing Strategist at Bloguettes, Creative Consultant at 224 Apparel + Design, and Client Manager & Content Editor at Ali & Ariel. Transitioning to The Recording Academy in 2016, they worked their way up from Brand Marketing Coordinator to Creative Manager. In 2023, they founded Gypseamermaid Creative LLC, where they served as Founder & Creative Director, working with various clients including the GRAMMY Museum as Art Director. Alexis also briefly held the role of Creative Director at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Their current focus at the GRAMMY Museum involves art direction and design for significant initiatives like the 15th Anniversary logo, GRAMMY Hall of Fame relaunch, and the look & feel of GRAMMY Camp 2024.

Alexis Mouer completed a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature at The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Minor in Fine and Studio Arts at the Università degli Studi di Firenze from 2013 to 2014.
