Brett Norris is an experienced professional in the field of geology and energy management, currently serving as Director and Asset Manager at Gran Tierra Energy since November 2019. Prior to this role, Brett operated as a self-employed Consultant Petrophysicist from January 2019 to November 2019. Brett’s previous experience includes a significant tenure at TransGlobe Energy Corporation from 2006 to 2019, where responsibilities included Vice President of Exploration & Technical Services and Exploitation Manager. Additional roles include Vice President of Geosciences and New Ventures at Paramount Energy Trust, Senior Staff Geologist and Team Lead at Nexen Petroleum, and various positions at Anderson Exploration, Hutt Reservoir Analysis Ltd., and Ranger Oil Ltd. Educationally, Brett holds a Master’s degree in Geology from Western University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Toronto.
