Dan Skibinski

Dan Skibinski has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Production Fluids at Gran Tierra Energy since June 2018, focusing on flow assurance and fluid chemistries. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Executive Vice President for Business Development at Engineered Chemistry Inc., where responsibilities included supplying Flotek products to exploration and production companies. Dan's previous roles also include Director of Business Development at Blue Spark Energy Inc., overseeing sales for innovative well-bore stimulation tools, and Director at ALS Omega Well Monitoring, managing sales and operations across the Americas. Additional experience includes a Business Development Manager role at Weatherford, Division Vice President of Operations at ICTC, and managerial positions in stimulation products at Baker Petrolite and Petrolite. Dan began their career with Amoco Canada, culminating in a Sr. Technologist role that included various production maintenance activities. Dan holds an engineering degree in petroleum from NAIT and further education from Royal Roads University, complemented by practical experience.
